Being the Northwest’s ‘biggest and best park’ at 600 acres, Heaton is heaving with extra special activities for the little ones, providing the perfect place for the kids to run wild. Bring your children’s favourite CBBC characters to life with a behind the scenes trip to the CBBC interactive tour at MediaCityUK in Salford. Home to much-loved programmes like Blue Peter and Newsround, let your children discover what it takes to produce a TV show and give them the perfect opportunity to do some presenting of their own – they might even get a chance to work behind the cameras, too. These extremely popular tours last about an hour and a half and there are plenty of photo opportunities along the way, so don’t forget your cameras.
